March 18, 2024 - The following letter attached here was sent to all Regina Public Schools families today.
The Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation announced the following job action affecting Regina Public Schools.
One-day province-wide strike on Wednesday March 20, 2024.
- All schools will be closed for students.
- All extracurricular activities and school-age care programs (before and after school programs) are cancelled.
- All non-STF staff will report to work, as usual.
Withdrawal of extracurricular activities on Thursday, March 21 and Friday, March 22, 2024.
- All extracurricular activities will be cancelled, including competitions/games, practices, clubs and other activities that were scheduled to take place before school, over the noon hour, after school and in the evening.
At this time, we expect that school will resume as usual on Monday, March 25, 2024.
