In the last two days, the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation has announced the following sanctions affecting Regina Public Schools.
1. One-day strike on Monday, March 4, 2024.
• All schools will be closed for students.
• All extracurricular activities and school age care programs (before and after school programs) are
cancelled.
• All non-STF staff will report to work, as usual.
2. Withdrawal of extracurricular activities on Tuesday, March 5 and Wednesday, March 6, 2024.
• All extracurricular activities will be cancelled, including competitions/games, practices, clubs
and other activities that were scheduled to take place before school, over the noon hour, after
school and in the evening.
At this time, we expect that school will resume as usual on Thursday, March 7, 2024
