Be Your Best Self

On Tuesday, December 1, FW Johnson hosted 140  grade 7 and 8 girls from Henry Braun, Glen Elm, George Ferguson and Judge Bryant  for the “Be Your Best Self – Girls Empowering Girls Conference".  This celebration allowed girls to learn more about ways to overcome negativity and deal with challenges now and in the future.  It was a great afternoon enjoyed by staff and students.

Thanks to our guest speakers Carol Christie-Beach (Regina Public Schools Counsellor), Sarah Hodges (Regina Lady Cougars Hockey Team coach), Michaela Netzel (Event Coordinator for U of R Athletics), Cpl. Angela Desjarlais (Regina Polics Service),  Emma Hicks (YMCA East Manager  and RIOT Ladies Tackle football team manager),  and Jazmine Krushlucki (owner-operator of her own renovations and construction company).

Thanks also to Cougar Hockey, the YMCA, and the Science Centre for the donations for the SWAG bags.
